Adult Discipleship classes are offered at Covenant Presbyterian Church on Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:30 am "for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ" (Eph 4:12).  Two different classes are usually offered, one being a study of a book of the Bible, another a topical study on a Biblical theme.   

This Autumn Brent Hansen will teach through the books of John. Most of you have heard of the novel and movie, "The Da Vinci Code". A good part of that book drew on ideas recorded in varioius apocryphal and Gnostic writings. The writer of he letters of JOhn had to deal with certain distortions of Christianity, and those distrotions developed into those writings. We will address. Topics to be covered wil include: love, sound doctrine, Christology, lght and darkness, the world, fellowship, obedience, the Spirit, happiness, and assurance. The class will run approximately ten weeks, till mid November.
